For the fourth year Our wine it has been awarded by the Gambero Rosso Guide Vini d'Italia, this time the highly desirable prize was given to Chianti Classico Riserva Poggio a'Frati 2018

After 2 editions we are proud to announce the return to the coveted Tre Bicchieri by one of Rocca di Castagnoli's wines.
To tell the truth to get the award is not just any wine but precisely the Chianti Classico Riserva Poggio a'Frati (already awarded with the vintages '04, '06 and '08).
Rocca di Castagnoli, whose terrior is located in Gaiole in Chianti, wins the internal "confrontation" with the selection of Chianti Classico from Castellina Capraia, present in the finals with Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Effe'55 2018, after Capraia had excelled for 2 editions (in 2021 with Effe'55 '16 and last year with Riserva '18), while Rocca di Castagnoli's last three glasses dates back to the 2020 edition, that year Chianti Classico vintage '17 was awarded.
