EQUALITAS - ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICAL AND ECONOMIC

We are proud and proud to announce Rocca di Castagnoli's achievement of the Equaitas sustainability certification.

We are aware that this achievement is part of a much longer and more articulated journey. Never before has it been as important as it is today to implement an entrepreneurial idea that is able to respect the entire surrounding environment in a 360° way, not only from an environmental, but also from a social and economic point of view.

"Equalitas is the company that owns the Standard originated from a project to certify sustainability in the wine sector.
The "founders" of the initiative are also the company's current partners: Federdoc (the Confederation of Consorzi di tutela delle Consorzi delle DOC del vino italiano), Csqa Certificazioni and Valoritalia (two of the leading bodies for certification in the wine sector) and the Gambero Rosso Foundation. The Equalitas project and its Standard, by encompassing the three "pillars" of sustainability: environmental, economic and ethical/social, address the entire wine supply chain: therefore, they logically fit into its production dynamics, providing for the adoption of the requirements and certification by all types of actors, whether they are farmers/viticulturists, processors, bottlers or gather all these identities into one, up to the protection consortia. In fact, the standard provides for the certification of three production dimensions: the enterprise (Organization standard), the finished product (Product standard), and the territory (Territory standard).
