Reservations at a non-refundable rate are binding on receipt of a deposit equal to 100% of the total cost, payable by credit card.

Our reception is not open 24 hours a day. It has the following schedule: From 9.00 to 13.00. Check-in is from 14.00 to 18.00 and check-out by 10.30. If you intend to arrive outside opening hours, you must notify us in advance so that we can hand over the keys. Check-in outside scheduled hours can only be arranged by contacting the hotel.

We hope this situation will not arise, since we are looking forward to welcoming you at Rocca di Castagnoli! However, we would like to explain our rules in the event of a request to cancel your booking: For non-refundable rates, the total amount for the stay will be charged at the time of the booking confirmation. These rates exclude the tourist tax and any extras payable on departure. Cancellations will not be refunded. For rates with free cancellation, credit card details are required as a guarantee. For cancellations made up to 15 days prior to your arrival date, we will not deduct any amount as compensation; for cancellations from 14 to 8 days prior to arrival, we will deduct a 30% penalty. There will be a 100% penalty for cancellations made 7 days prior to arrival, for early departure and for no show.

We are on the top of a hill, nestled in the Tuscan landscape, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and there are no public transport links. On request we can arrange various transfer services. For those who want to visit the picturesque villages of Chianti and to discover what the hotel’s surroundings have to offer, we suggest you rent a car at the airport.

The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence Peretola which is 80 km away, 63 km of which is on the A1 motorway.

Small pets are only allowed for apartment stays. We would appreciate it if we are notified at the time of booking.

The nearest town is Gaiole in Chianti 6 km away, which contains the following businesses: bank, post office, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, restaurants, bars, stores, supermarket, tobacco stores, beauty center, etc.

Yes, both cots and cribs are available.

Our closest stations are Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno, which are 25 km away.

The final cleaning of the apartments is included in the stated prices, except for the cleaning of the kitchenette and dishes, which is charged to the customer. If this area is not cleaned, the customer will be charged an extra cost of 50 euro.
